Biography
Michael Clarke: Owner/CEO
Hi, I'm Michael Clarke. My investment journey began in 2008 with real estate investing and management in New York City. In 2015, the same year I earned my Bachelor's in Sports Management and Business from Barry University, I ventured into the stock and cryptocurrency markets. My initial curiosity about cryptocurrency stemmed from its potential to revolutionize local and global business over the next 15 years. I quickly recognized the power of this emerging technology to create generational wealth and help close the wealth gap.
Over the next five years, I immersed myself in studying a wide range of financial strategies, from stock and options trading to ETFs, SPACs, IPOs, trust accounts, 529 college savings plans, and life insurance. By 2019, I realized that financial literacy was a critical gap within the Black community, often placing us at a disadvantage. This inspired me to share my knowledge through financial literacy courses and counseling, empowering others to build and sustain wealth. 2020 is when I created Culture Shock Investments!
